Tired, bloated and just not feeling like yourself anymore?

Nutrition and lifestyle support for busy women in midlife who want their energy, confidence and spark back.

If weight gain, bloating, poor sleep, brain fog or changing hormones are making you wonder what's happened to the old you, you're in the right place.

I can help you understand what's going on in your body and make realistic changes that help you feel better — without restrictive diets or turning your life upside down.

Does this sound familiar?

You eat pretty well. You try to look after yourself. But lately, your body doesn't seem to be playing by the same rules.Perhaps...Your weight is creeping up — particularly around your middle — and what used to work just doesn't anymore.

You're bloated or uncomfortable and never quite know what your stomach is going to do next.

You're exhausted, but frustratingly don't always sleep well.

Your brain feels foggy and your concentration isn't what it used to be.

Your hormones seem to have a mind of their own — mood swings, anxiety, headaches, hot flushes or night sweats.

Your joints ache, your skin has changed or you've developed other little health niggles you never used to have.

You know you should be doing something about your health, but there's so much conflicting advice that you don't know where to start. And you're trying to manage all of this while juggling work, children, family and everyone else's needs.

Sometimes you wonder..."What happened to the old me?"

You want your energy back. You want to feel comfortable in your clothes. You want to wake up feeling refreshed and get through the day without feeling exhausted, foggy or overwhelmed.

Most of all, you just want to feel like YOU again.

You don't have to accept feeling rubbish as "just part of getting older"

Midlife can bring a lot of changes.

Hormones are shifting. Your body may respond differently to food and exercise. Sleep and stress can become more difficult to manage. And digestive problems or other health issues that you've lived with for years can suddenly feel harder to ignore.

But that doesn't mean you have to put up with feeling below par.

As a Registered Nutritional Therapist, I look beyond individual symptoms to understand the bigger picture — including your nutrition, digestion, hormones, sleep, stress, lifestyle and health history.

Together, we'll work out what your body needs and create a realistic plan that fits around your life.

No fads. No extreme diets. No perfection required.

Just practical, achievable changes designed to help you feel better and support your health for the long term.

How can nutritional therapy help you?

ENERGY & BRAIN FOG

Stop running on empty.x`

We'll look at the factors that could be affecting your energy, concentration and blood sugar so you can feel more awake, focused and able to get through your day without constantly reaching for caffeine or something sweet.

WEIGHT & METABOLIC HEALTH

When "eat less and move more" isn't working anymore.

Midlife weight management isn't simply about willpower. We'll look at your diet and lifestyle as a whole and find a sustainable approach that supports your health as well as your weight — without another restrictive diet.

GUT HEALTH & BLOATING

Feel comfortable in your body again.

Bloating, constipation, diarrhoea, IBS and digestive discomfort can have a huge impact on how you feel. We'll look for potential triggers and work on supporting better digestive health.

PERIMENOPAUSE & HORMONES

Support your body through midlife changes.

From hot flushes and night sweats to mood swings, headaches, poor sleep and changing body composition, nutrition and lifestyle can play an important role in supporting you through perimenopause and menopause.

SLEEP, STRESS & MOOD

Feel calmer, more rested and more resilient.

Health isn't just about what's on your plate. We'll look at sleep, stress, movement and lifestyle too — because they all affect how you feel.

Hi, I'm Sara

I'm Sara Kuijten, a Registered Nutritional Therapist based in Berkshire and founder of Nourished by Sara.

I specialise in helping women in midlife who are struggling with things like weight management, gut health, low energy and hormonal changes.

But I know that you're much more than a collection of symptoms.

That's why I take the time to understand you — your health history, what you eat, how you sleep, your stress levels, your lifestyle, your family commitments and, importantly, what you actually want to achieve.

I'm not here to hand you a perfect meal plan and expect you to overhaul your life overnight.

My approach is about making small, realistic changes that build over time — so they become part of your life rather than another health kick that lasts three weeks.

My aim is simple:

To give you the knowledge, tools and support you need to feel healthier, happier, more energised — and like yourself again.
